There’s no better match than the tart sweetness of cherries with the richness of dark chocolate, so try this recipe from Matthew Fort
1. Break the chocolate into small pieces and place into a heatproof bowl set over a pan of simmering water (make sure the bottom of the bowl doesn’t touch the water). Add the water and sugar and allow the chocolate to melt, whisking until the ingredients are well combined.
2. When the chocolate has melted, remove from the heat and fold in the cream.
3. To serve, place the bowl of melted chocolate in the middle of the table and allow diners to dip the cherries into the chocolate.
